Now you run the v2.5 firmware on your v1.5 PSP, allowing you to use the web browser, as well as play games requiring 2.5 and possibly higher.

MastaMind has put up a great tutorial on getting PMPmod videos to works on the PSP from a Mac. What's PMP video? It's full resolution video for your PSP, something Sony locked away to sell their UMDs!
